Welcome to my review of the Samsung LE32C530. I make it my priority when reviewing TV’s not to get too technical but simply give you an honest opinion of the model in laymans terms.

The LE32C530 offers the consumer a full range of features and here I examine each including the appearance, ease of use and compatibility for use with other electronic devices.

Samsung LE32C530 Specification

What initial strikes you with all the Samsung budget range is how much more expensive they look with their high standard finish – they really do look beautiful. Now, though this is no indication of the quality I think it’s an important factor to consider as your main set will clearly be on display in your living room whether it’s on or off.

You get a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution panel. There are three HDMI connectors, Scart, USB and D-Sub port along with the older Component and Composite connectors so you can still use older models of video camera’s etc.

You can instantly play your pictures and videos from your digital camera using the “Conect Share Movie” option and with Anynet+ you have one touch control via HDMI of any Samsung compatiable device.

Picture and Audio

The picture is crisp and sharp and rivals the LG models that I’ve reviewed on this site. Motion handling is no problem for the LE32C530 as it handles this better than any LCD TV in this price range. There is also no problem upscaling the 576 lines of freeview, in fact the LE32C530 is one of the best performers of Standard Definition that we have seen.

Audio is excellent, the acoustic performance is what is expected for this price range of TV, though you would be hard pressed to notice the difference with more expensive models.

Conclusion

All in all, the is an execellent set from a top Brand, and when you consider that the Samsung LE32C530 is available at a ridiculous £300, it has to be seen as a bit of a bargain.
